Tusheti is located in the Great Caucasus Mountains in Georgia. The only gateway to this small mountainous region passes at nearly 3000m which remains snowy more than 7 months per year. Only one track whose construction began under the Soviet regime, after the second world war, allows a conveyed access from June to October. After entering this mysterious region filled with pagan rites, we ride on ridges, cross passes over 3000m, admire stunning panoramas, spend and sleep in nest eagle villages and in wild valleys far from civilization. You discover the traditions, culture and way of life of the last semi-nomads of Greater Caucasus.
I propose 3 different routes in this region:
The Tush ride, in June, 9 days in all from Tbilisi to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Beautiful getaway in the national park of Tusheti . There are two places left in June.
The wild ride, July, August, September, 12 days in total, passage of 3 passes over 3000m, adventurous, beautiful in communion with nature.
There are still places in August.
The transhumance, October, 1 only departure, 12 days during which we go down the horses in the wintering. There are 3 places left in October.
