Tusheti is located in the Great Caucasus Mountains in Georgia. The only gateway to this small mountainous region passes at nearly 3000m which remains snowy more than 7 months per year. Only one track built under the Soviet period allows an access by jeep from June to October. Once this mysterious region reached, we ride over passes lying at 3000m, in wild valleys far from civilization, on the crest at 3200m, we cross some (sometimes turbulent) rivers, admire stunning panoramas, overnight in nest eagle villages, meet the locals and semi nomadic Tush.
All these itineraries offer a full immersion in the Tush culture & traditions.
I propose 3 different routes in this region:
The Tush ride
In June, 9 days in all from Tbilisi to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Beautiful getaway in the national park of Tusheti .
The wild ride,
In July, August, September, 12 days in total, passage of 3 passes over 3000m, adventurous, beautiful in communion with nature.
In October, 1 only departure, 12 days during which we go down the horses in the wintering.
